Residence Pass-Talent Corp (RPT)
The Residence Pass – Talent Corp visa is slightly different from a regular work visa (employment pass). It is a visa that grants up to 10 years of work authorization. With this visa, if you have to leave your initial employer and transfer to another company in Malaysia, you do not need to apply for a new work visa and can continue working as is.
● Up to 10 years of work and residence visa is issued. Visa holders can freely enter and exit the country, and renewal is possible.
Initially, a 5-year work and residence permit is issued, and after 5 years, you can receive an additional 5-year extension.
● No need to reapply for work permit when changing employers within the visa validity period.
When leaving your initial employer and transferring to another company, you do not need to reapply for a work permit if within the visa validity period. Also, when renewing, you can apply for renewal even while employed at a new company.
