What is PVIP (Malaysia Premium Visa Programme)?
PVIP (Malaysia Premium Visa Programme) is a new long-term visa program for high-net-worth individuals launched by the Malaysian government in October 2022. It allows stays of up to 20 years (5 years × 4 renewals) and permits employment, business activities, and education in Malaysia, making it a very attractive visa option.
Key Features of PVIP
- Up to 20 years of long-term stay – Renewable every 5 years for up to 20 years, with possibility of another 20-year extension
- Employment and business allowed – Unlike MM2H, employment and business activities are permitted in Malaysia
- No stay requirement – No minimum annual stay requirement
- No property purchase requirement – Property purchase is not mandatory for application
- Dependents can apply – Spouse, unmarried children under 25, and parents can be included
