MM2H:Procedure for Applying Study Permit

Children of MM2H visa holders who wish to study at international schools in Malaysia are generally required to apply for a 「Study Permit」. The study permit is typically valid for a period of one year.

MM2H :Process Flow for Study Permit Application

STEP 1 Contact Our Company

Please provide the information of the main applicant and applicant apply for school permit.

 

STEP 2

Payment Of Agency Supporting Fee

Pay for agent support fee.

STEP 3 Preparation of Documents Required For Study Permit Application

  • Copy of the passport photo page and MM2H visa page for both the main applicant and the child.
  • Copy of Approval Letter ● Certificate of Enrollment issued by the child’s school. ● Tuition fee invoice and receipt
  • Blue back ground passport size photo x 1(3.5x5.0cm) ●Others documents our company will prepare (need applicant to sign)
STEP 4 Submission of Documents to the Ministry of Tourism and Subsequent review

Our staff will submit the study permit application to the Ministry of Tourism on your behalf. The review process takes approximately 2 months. Once it is approved, we will contact you promptly.

STEP 5 Study Permit Issuance Procedure

Visit one of our branches in Malaysia to submit original passport, our staff will then complete the study permit issuance procedure on your behalf at the Ministry of Tourism.

STEP 6 Returning Passport

Once the procedure is complete, we will contact you and return the passport.

  • Please be aware that the Malaysian government (Immigration Department) may suddenly change the application requirements or the list of required documents. Even after your application has been submitted, any changes in requirements will, in principle, be applied retroactively, and your application will be processed based on the updated criteria. As a result, you may be required to submit additional documents.
    Please understand that our company cannot be held responsible for any changes made by the government.

For customers staying outside of Kuala Lumpur within Malaysia

Except Kuala Lumpur, our company also have branches in Penang and Johor Bahru. Customers who are unable to visit the Kuala Lumpur branch can apply visa balance procedures through the Penang or Johor Bahru branch.

Our Penang and Johor branches will collect your signatures on the required documents, your old and new passports, and the visa fee. The collected documents will then be sent to our Kuala Lumpur branch via DHL. DHL’s secure delivery service for valuables is highly reliable, and to date, there have been no cases of lost items. However, please note that we are not take responsibility for any issues that may arise during DHL’s handling.

The delivery fee will be RM200 for round-trip service. We kindly ask for your consideration.
