MM2H: Procedures for Visa Cancellation

If you have decided to end your long-term stay in Malaysia and plan to leave the country to return to home country or relocate to another country, it is necessary to proceed with the 「Visa Cancellation」 process.
MM2H:Visa Cancellation Procedure
| STEP 1 | Contact Our Company
Our company need to prepare some English documentation, so please let us know the reason why you wish to cancel your visa. |

Payment Of Agency Supporting Fee

| STEP 3 | Preparation of Documents Required for Visa Cancellation

| STEP 4 | Pre-application for Visa Cancellation (can be made one month prior to date of departure)
Our staff will submit the visa cancellation documents to the Ministry of Tourism on your behalf |
| STEP 5 | Final Cancellation Process
Applicant will need to visit our Malaysia branch and pass the passport to us. Our staff will then proceed with the cancellation process at the Ministry of Tourism on your behalf. |
| STEP 6 | Return of Passport And The “Fixed Deposit Cancellation Approval Letter” Issued by The Ministry of Tourism.
After the final cancellation process at the Ministry of Tourism, a fixed deposit cancellation approval letter addressed to the bank will be issued. This will allow for the cancellation of the MM2H fixed deposit, remittance procedures, and the closure of the bank account. |

- Please be aware that the Malaysian government (Immigration Department) may suddenly change the application requirements or the list of required documents. Even after your application has been submitted, any changes in requirements will, in principle, be applied retroactively, and your application will be processed based on the updated criteria. As a result, you may be required to submit additional documents.
Please understand that our company cannot be held responsible for any changes made by the government.
For customers staying outside of Kuala Lumpur within Malaysia
Except Kuala Lumpur, our company also have branches in Penang and Johor Bahru. Customers who are unable to visit the Kuala Lumpur branch can apply visa balance procedures through the Penang or Johor Bahru branch.
Our Penang and Johor branches will collect your signatures on the required documents, your old and new passports, and the visa fee. The collected documents will then be sent to our Kuala Lumpur branch via DHL. DHL’s secure delivery service for valuables is highly reliable, and to date, there have been no cases of lost items. However, please note that we are not take responsibility for any issues that may arise during DHL’s handling.
The delivery fee will be RM200 for round-trip service. We kindly ask for your consideration.
