Required Documents
- Copy of the passport photo page of the PVIP main applicant
- Copy of the PVIP visa page of the PVIP main applicant
- Copy of the Approval Letter
- Copy of the Fixed Deposit Certificate
- Fixed Deposit Certificate (Bank Letter) from the bank holding the time deposit
- Certificate stating the reason for needing to change the account
Application Process
- Submit required documents to Tropical Co.
- Submit application to Immigration Bureau (Cosmos Co. applies on your behalf)
- Obtain Change Approval Letter (approx. 2 weeks) (Cosmos Co. receives letter on your behalf)
- Open bank account at new institution
- Visit the bank where the PVIP fixed deposit is held to cancel the PVIP fixed deposit and arrange transfer of the fixed deposit funds
- Create a PVIP fixed deposit at the new bank and obtain a bank letter
- Submit the fixed deposit certificate and bank letter to the Immigration Bureau (Cosmos Co. applies on your behalf)
Application Fee
If opening a bank account is required to deposit the new PVIP fixed deposit: RM5,000 + 8%
If opening a bank account is not required to deposit the new PVIP fixed deposit: RM3,000 + 8%
