The Residence Pass-Talent Corp is different from a regular Working Visa (employment permit). It grants a work permit for up to 10 years. With this visa, if you need to leave the company where you originally obtained it and transfer to another company in Malaysia, you do not need to apply for a new Working Visa – you can continue working directly.

Initially, a 5-year work and residence permit is issued, with an additional 5 years available after the first term. Visa holders are free to enter and exit the country, and renewal is possible.
No Re-application Required When Changing Jobs
When leaving your original company and transferring to another company, you do not need to reapply for work permits. As long as your visa is valid, you can continue working. When renewing, you can apply even while working at a new company.
